apply for the kitchen helper at Lenny's Restaurant which was advertised in last
Saturday's newspaper.
2. I have considerable
experience of working in catering. Last summer I worked for six weeks as a
waitress in my local cafe. My responsibilities there included taking orders and
serving customers as well as cleaning the kitchen and washing up.
3. I consider myself
to be reliable, hard-working and enthusiastic. If necessary, I can supply
references from the cafe owner and also from a teacher at my school.
4. I would be very
grateful for the opportunity to visit the restaurant and discuss my application
with you in person. I am available for interview any day after school or on
Saturdays. If my application is successful, I will be available to start work
