10 клас англійська мова

« Картини українських художників розповідають» з англійської мови для учнів 10-11 класів.
Цілі:

Практична –розвивати комунікативні навички аудіювання, читання,письма,говоріння.
Освітня-поглибити знання учнів з країнознавства.
Розвиваюча- розвивати логічне мислення, креативність,  естетичний
кругозір зацікавленість та вподобання.
Виховна-щодо Концепції національно-патріотичного виховання дітей
та молоді, прививати повагу до культурних цінностей своєї країни.
Обладнання: Підручники  10 -11 класу О. Карпюк,репродукції
художників, Енциклопедія українських художників, роздатковий дидактичний матеріал,аудіо додаток.
I.Introduction
T: Look at the blackboard! Read this proverb and try to guess the topic of the lesson. You are right! We are going to speak about art of Ukrainian painters.
By the end of the lesson you’ll learn new words and word combinations, then you’ll be able to use them in speech. You’ll learn a lot of information about the art
of painting.

IV. Reading.
M.Pimonenko «Before thunderstorm»
Pimonenko Mykola Kornilovich (1862-1912) was an outstanding Ukrainian artist of the 20th century and brilliant painter of landscape.
Like many artists,he turned to nature for inspiration. He had an instinctive feeling for nature.Among his pictures, «Before thunderstorm», is truly remarkable.
It is,indeed, a masterpiece of world painting. Looking at the picture, you can easily understand how keenly the artist felt nature in every detail. He was able to impart a sinister atmosphere before the storm.
The sky is overcast. The first gust of wind shakes the trees, the next moment it will start raining.
The artist enlivens   the landscape by a woman driving sheep, huddling together in a group, along the road in the foreground.
This landscape is a typical example of sentimental and poetic painting.
O.Kulchitska « Children in the Meadows»
Olena Kulchitska was a master of country landscapes. She was a representative of Art –Industry School. Kulchitska reflected traditional,original features of the Ukrainian history and life. She developed her own style of painting. The painter exposed the true sides of peasant’s condition. « Children in the Meadows» is moving,lyrical,romantic and original in tone and atmosphere.
This picture looks very optimistic and realistic, The picture imparts a warm,quite summer day.
In the foreground we see children sitting in the meadows,they tell interesting stories to each other.  Children are wearing clean clothes, may be it’s Sunday,they have a rest. In the background we see a country landscape.
Post –reading
T: Write a summary of the texts.

Example:
This picture is a typical family group portrait in the grand style of Ukrainian portrait painting.
In the foregrounf we see a peasant boy,holding his younger brother. Children are waiting their mum. She must work to help her family. We have a feeling that kids are looking at us.
